Unlock Your Potential with KRN Counseling

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Journey Clinical

I am a Journey Clinical KAP Provider

I offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, & supports us in monitoring outcomes.

If you would like to explore the possibility of working with me on KAP, please e-mail me at krncounseling@gmail.com to discuss eligibility and next steps.

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is a holistic modality in which ketamine is used as a complement to therapy to help an eligible client experience more frequent breakthroughs and sustained improvement in symptoms. A licensed and certified KAP provider takes on the the therapy portion of the experience, while the Journey Clinical’s medical team supports you on all medical aspects. This includes determining eligibility, developing a custom treatment plan, prescribing the medicine, and monitoring outcomes.

There are 2 ways sessions can be held:

1. Psycholytic dosing - A smaller dose where smaller and a more regular talking session would be held and we would be working on deeper issues while the medicine is doing it's work.

or

2. Psychedelic dosing - with a larger dose where you'd be in a 'dream-like state'. You would have a more transpersonal experience where you would process things more internally and integrate the experience once the medicine wore off.

Both have their own, deeply beneficial purposes and are therapeutic in their own right.
